Here are a couple of recent book purchases I have made, one I just completed and another I just cracked open. This book I just finished tonight, Eric Bryant mixes in humor throughout the book, which had me laughing a few times. Eric is the Leadership Director for Mosaic. This book is also very good at defining a lot of what I have been teaching in small groups sessions lately. Recommend this book, it is not
a big theology book, but rather a very good book on building relationships with those around you. One chapter is titled, “Get up off your couch”, how more plan and simple is that. I will be adding to my Feeders List.

 

This book I just opened up tonight and read through the Foreword and Introduction. This sounds like an excellent read, I would bet right now that this book just feeds my holy discontent even more and will end up on my Feeders list. Shane Claiborne is the leader of The Simple Way in Philadelphia. I  recently listened to Shane speak at Mars
Hill Bible Church for Rob Bell, on the topic “Finding Your Calcutta”.
